FURIA have been having quite a solid season. While they’ve not won a single tournament, they’ve had flashes of greatness, notably placing second in the IEM Cologne Major in June.
Since then, FURIA have attended just BLAST Bounty Summer, where they crashed out in last place, showing little to no motivation to perform, with a 1-2 loss against DENDELE CS.
At EWC, FURIA have played just one game, against Wildcard, and won 13-10. It was not the most convincing display by the Major finalists, who struggled against an inferior team. Results like that are not too inspiring and suggest that FURIA might not be at 100% ahead of their clash with 9z Team.
