As an S-Tier tournament, it will welcome some of the world’s strongest Counter-Strike 2 teams, and while there are some notable absences, such as Team Vitality, Team Spirit, FURIA, and Natus Vincere, the field travelling to China is still stacked with world-class talent, ensuring a competitive tournament.
Sitting atop the power rankings are Team Falcons, who have recently emerged as a powerhouse with a deep run at PGL Astana.
While the title in Kazakhstan slipped between their fingers, the Falcons have proven their worth and are widely considered as serious contenders for the CS Asia Championships trophy.
However, with the likes of PARIVISION, The MongolZ, MOUZ, and Legacy also in the mix, Falcons’ road to the top will be anything but an easy one.

Sitting atop the power rankings are Team Falcons. Despite having struggled to claim a big trophy this season, the Falcons have recently made quite a splash.
Fielding one of the most stacked rosters in the world, which was recently reinforced with ex-FaZe Clan in-game leader, karrigan, the Falcons head to China after a grand final run at PGL Astana.
It marked their second consecutive podium finish in an S-Tier tournament, following their third-place finish at Intel Extreme Masters Rio.
While known to slip at the final hurdle, Team Falcons now have a chance to break that curse at CS Asia Championships, where the field will not be as competitive.
Close behind Team Falcons sit PARIVISION and The MongolZ as the second and third-most likely squads to come out on top.
PARIVISION came out of nowhere earlier this season and started posting promising results with deep runs at PGL Cluj-Napoca and BLAST Open Spring.
Their performance in Astana, however, has left a lot to be desired, and put a big question mark above PARIVISION and their chances to go all the way.
The MongolZ have also found some success in bigger events this season, namely a third-place finish at PGL Bucharest in April. Yet like PARIVISION, they failed to perform in Astana and crashed out in ninth-11th place.
MOUZ join the list of one title contenders. As one of the most proven teams in bigger events, MOUZ have not been hugely successful of late, but the recent roster changes have helped them place in the top three at PGL Astana. While MOUZ might need more time to reach their full potential, they are one of the more consistent squads in the world and not a team to be underestimated.
This rounds up the main title contenders for the CS Asia Championships, which sees only four teams priced at single digits.
While Legacy’s recent run in Astana suggests they have what it takes to shake up the balance of power, the final race will likely come down to Falcons, PARIVISION, MongolZ, and MOUZ.

Verdict
MOUZ, The MongolZ, PARIVISION, and The Falcons are the only four teams priced at single digits to win CS Asia Championships 2026 and of the four, Team Falcons sit firmly atop, at even odds.
This makes a lot of sense, as they’ve been the most successful squad of the four, and they head to China in excellent form. Falcons have recently placed second in PGL Astana, which is proof enough that Falcons have the tools to compete for big trophies.

While fatigue could play a factor early on, there is no denying that the Falcons are the strongest squad at the CS Asia Championships, with the highest ceiling.
