FURIA Are Expected to Shine
FURIA are one of the world’s top five teams and the highest-rated squad attending FISSURE Playground #3. They have been in good form, with a silver medal from the Cologne Major, a fourth-place finish at the Esports World Cup and a quarterfinal appearance at BLAST Open Fall.

GamerLegion Have Much to Prove
GamerLegion are an exciting squad, fielding known names from the scene, including FL4MUS, Snax, and Tauson. But even with all this talent, GL have accomplished close to nothing this season.
Their results over the last three months leave much to be desired, as GamerLegion have not finished higher than top-nine since their run to the grand finals at IEM Atlanta in May.
They recently crashed out of BLAST Bounty Summer in 17th-32nd and the Esports World Cup in ninth-16th. Even more worrying is their performance at the IEM Beijing qualifiers, which GL exited in 13th-16th.
There is a world where GamerLegion wake up, but that hasn’t happened yet.

FURIA are a far more accomplished team in this contest and a squad who have reached much higher highs than GamerLegion. But FURIA have also had a very busy schedule and little time to prepare for FISSURE Playground, so there is a good chance they’ll have a slow start.
This does not mean FURIA are in real danger of losing the series, yet there is a solid chance they could drop a map. GamerLegion, as unexciting as they have been, definitely have the individual quality to do some damage and take advantage of FURIA’s fatigue.
