FUT Esports Look to Regain Momentum
FUT Esports were not expected to do well in Masters London, but they shut up all the critics quicky by making it through the Swiss Stage with wins against FULL SENSE (2-0) and NRG (2-1). Their sole loss of the stage came against Team Vitality (1-2), but even in that game, FUT showed good things.
For the playoffs, FUT had the misfortune of getting paired with one of the world’s best teams, EDward Gaming, who proved too much to handle. Nevertheless, FUT again performed admirably well and came very close to sweeping the Chinese giants.
FUT won Haven 13-4, then slipped in overtime on Pearl (12-14), and lost Fracture 5-13. While a loss is a loss, it was a good game from FUT, who again proved they can face any team, and that might include G2 Esports, who do not seem to be at 100% yet.
