Scheduled to begin on Monday, October 19, DraculaN Season 7 is the seventh iteration of the Digital Crusade DraculaN Counter-Strike 2 series, and the third of the year.
The tournament will take place at Nexus Esports Hub in Bucharest, Romania, where 24 Counter-Strike 2 teams will duke it out for the lion’s share of the US$35,000 prize pool and valuable Valve Regional Standings (VRS) points ahead of the Singapore Major.
Many up-and-coming rosters and a handful of known names from the upper echelon of competitive Counter-Strike are in attendance, including HEROIC and FaZe Clan, who head to Romania as the two teams to beat.
However, with other dangerous squads in attendance, the event promises to be a competitive one that will not offer an easy path to the top even for the tournament’s highest-rated teams.

DraculaN Season 7 will run from Monday, October 19 to Friday, October 23. The tournament will welcome 24 Counter-Strike 2 teams at the Nexus Esports Hub in Bucharest, Romania and will play out entirely in a LAN setting.
The event is divided into two stages. The action begins with 16 low-seeded teams divided into four double-elimination GSL format groups of four. In the group stage, all opening and winner matches are best-of-one (BO1), while the elimination and decider matches are best-of-three (BO3).
Top two teams from each group will proceed to the playoffs, where they’ll join eight high-seeded squads.

However, despite the fact that FaZe have not won any big tournaments, they made the semifinals of BLAST Bounty Summer in August, and they’ve recently dominated Roman Imperium Cup IX, proving they can handle the level of opposition that’ll be present at DraculaN Season 7.
Luminosity are viewed as dangerous outsiders to spoil HEROIC’s and FaZe Clan’s plans. While not among the world’s strongest squads, Luminosity have been showing good things since of late.
Since September, Luminosity have attended three tournaments and placed on the podium in all three. They secured silver medals from Roman Imperium Cup VIII and Logitech G Play Connect, and earlier this month secured a bronze medal from Stake Ranked Episode 4.
Over that stretch, Luminosity have played 16 games and won all but six, showing momentum ahead of DraculaN Season 7.
