Gen.G entered the game as firm favourites, which should not surprise anyone. They were the best-performing team of the opening split, and while Gen.G have since slowed down, this is still an incredibly stacked roster, who are due for a bounce-back.

Gen.G Have Yet To Reach Their Final Form
Gen.G’s run through this split has been fairly disappointing for their standards. They’re 3-3 with a 1-2 record from their last three outings, which includes a 2-0 sweep of HAJIN BRION and two 0-2 defeats against Dplus KIA and Hanwha Life Esports.
The eye test proves that Gen.G have been off their game recently, and it is becoming slightly worrying. In part, that has to do with the fact that Gen.G have usually dominated the league, so seeing them hold a 50% win rate is definitely out of the ordinary.
That said, this is still the same roster that cruised through LCK Cup, fielding elite players in all five positions. It’s only a matter of time before Gen.G wake up, and this match is a great opportunity for them to get back on track.

DN SOOPers enter Week 4 of LCK 2026 Rounds 1-2 with a 1-2 record. They started the split with a very promising 2-0 sweep of Kiwoom DRX, but have since slowed down and suffered five straight losses against Nongshim RedForce, T1, BNK FEARX, Hanwha Life Esports, and KT Rolster.
Over that stretch, DN SOOPers have not shown anything memorable and more or less collapsed in all of their games. In their defence, DNS have had to deal with a very tough schedule, but it is not like things are going to get any easier here.
There are, however, some positives here. Pyosik can run over early games, so DN SOOPers are not without a bite. The big question, however, is whether they will manage to find openings against Gen.G.
