Hanwha Life Esports and Nongshim RedForce are squaring off in an upcoming League of Legends match. Although Nongshim has shown strength with recent wins, their weak spots were evident in previous games. In contrast, Hanwha Life Esports recently claimed a significant victory over Gen.G, showcasing their potential dominance. Despite Hanwha's impressive form, their volatility remains an aspect to watch out for. Given Hanwha's current shape and recent victories, they enter the match with a clear edge over Nongshim, setting up an exciting clash.

Hanwha Life Esports vs Nongshim RedForce Betting Predictions

Hanwha Life Esports and Nongshim RedForce will face off on Wednesday, April 22, in Week 4 of League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) 2026 Rounds 1-2, in what should be a very easy game for HLE.

Hanwha Life Esports enter the match following a massive victory over Gen.G, which not only gives them the momentum to continue to perform in Week 4, but is also a good indication of how strong HLE can be.

Meanwhile, Nongshim RedForce have won their last two games, but have also shown many cracks in their wins, suggesting they are not as strong as their current standing would suggest.

Nongshim RedForce have done enough to sit in third place in the LCK Rounds 1-2 standings, but a closer look at their performances reveals weaknesses that top teams like Hanwha Life Esports can exploit.

  • Hanwha Life Esports are in excellent shape
  • Nongshim RedForce are not as good as their position would suggest
  • HLE will aim for a clean victory

Hanwha Life Esports Are Volatile

Hanwha Life Esports have been holding on well this split, going 5-1 over the first three weeks of play. Over that stretch, they’ve beaten BRION (2-0), Dplus KIA (2-0), BNK FEARX (2-1), DN SOOPers (2-0), and Gen.G (2-0). Meanwhile, HLE’s only loss came against T1 (0-2) in the first week.

Outside of that defeat, Hanwha Life Esports have been playing well. Admittedly, they’ve had their questionable moments and have gotten lucky a couple of times, but HLE have also produced some outstanding performances – highlighting how volatile they can be.

As it appears, Hanwha Life Esports have not changed much from the LCK Cup or the 2025 season. They have a very high ceiling and can perform like the best LoL team in the world; however, they struggle with consistency and leave themselves vulnerable to being punished with iffy macro moments.

Hanwha Life Esports Squad & Team News

No changes for Hanwha Life Esports.

  • Choi "Zeus" Woo-je – top lane
  • Seo "Kanavi" Jin-hyeok – jungle
  • Kim "Zeka" Geon-woo – mid lane

Nongshim RedForce Are Performing Worse Than it Seems

Nongshim RedForce picked up two wins last week against BNK FEARX and HAJIN BRION, improving their record to 4-2. They have been playing well this season and have produced mostly solid games.

On the other side, RedForce have not faced that many good teams and the one loss to KRX is not something to ignore.

Even their recent win against BRION wasn’t that great. BRION won the first map and should’ve won the second, but they managed to throw a sizeable lead away in the mid-game. The third map was close until RedForce took over in the late game with a stronger composition.

It’s hard to say how good Nongshim RedForce are, and while they’ve shown some good things, I’m not quite sold on this team. Their current record (4-2) is not a very good indication of how strong RedForce are.

Nongshim RedForce Squad & Team News

Nongshim RedForce have not made any roster changes.

  • Hwang "Kingen" Seong-hoon – top lane
  • Bae "Sponge" Young-jun – jungle
  • Lee "Scout" Ye-chan – mid lane
  • Kim "Taeyoon" Tae-yoon – ADC
  • Son "Lehends" Si-woo – support

Verdict

Nongshim RedForce have looked solid for the most part of the split, but they’ve also not faced that many good teams. More notably, they struggled against KRX, and they did not impress against BRION.

Results like that give little hope that Nongshim RedForce can deliver against Hanwha Life Esports, who have been in excellent shape, and are fresh off a huge victory against Gen.G.

Admittedly, HLE are known to be volatile, but this is their game to lose.
