MOUZ, who are billed as one of the teams to beat, are a little bit of both. They’ve played top-four in four of the last six big events, and are fresh off a strong showing at PGL Masters Bucharest and ESL Pro League Season 24, where they placed third and second, respectively.

MOUZ are unquestionably one of the most stacked and well-coached teams attending Intel Extreme Masters Beijing, and given their recent success in other bigger events, they are rightly expected to make a deep run in China as well.

Team Falcons haven’t been as successful of late, as they’ve not won a tournament since the IEM Cologne Major.

They have shown some signs of life with a fourth-place finish at Thunderpick World Championship and a semifinal run at BLAST Open Fall. However, consistency hasn’t been their strong suit, which raises questions about Falcons’ chances of success at IEM Beijing.

Aurora Gaming have been relatively quiet for most of the year, but they’ve started to make serious noise of late.

They placed second at StarLadder StarSeries Fall and third in both the ESL Pro League Season 24 and Thunderpick World Championship. With those results, and with victories against some other strong contenders, Aurora can’t be counted out.

FURIA, on the other hand, enter Intel Extreme Masters Beijing 2026 in excellent shape, as they’ve won their last two tournaments, including Thunderpick World Championship and PGL Masters Bucharest.

Having finally found their stride, FURIA look more than ready to launch an attack on an IEM trophy; granted, with fatigue slowly setting in, FURIA could also fall short.

Betting on Intel Extreme Masters Beijing 2026 is simple, thanks to the strong market offerings on most betting platforms. From esports bookmakers to traditional sportsbooks, Intel Extreme Masters Beijing enjoys excellent coverage, so CS2 punters don't have to look far to find a platform to place their bets.

Verdict

MOUZ are billed as the team to beat at Intel Extreme Masters Beijing 2026, and for all the right reasons. They’ve been the most consistent performers over the last four months, and while MOUZ haven’t won many trophies in that stretch, they've consistently placed high.

Given the success MOUZ have found in much more competitive fields, Intel Extreme Masters Beijing should present them with an excellent chance to make a run for the trophy, and there are not many teams who can stop them.

FURIA are another team worth keeping an eye on. While there is a chance that fatigue will set in for FURIA – who have attended and won two big events this month – they are the most in-form team in attendance. And as a squad that is very momentum-driven, FURIA look more than ready to produce another deep run.
