Leviatan vs FURIA Tips – FURIA Chase a Big Upset in VCT Americas Stage 2
Leviatan are entering VCT Americas Stage 2 as clear favorites against FURIA, backed by recent top performances including a runner-up finish in Stage 1 and victory at Masters London. Having had time to rest and prepare, Leviatan's roster remains unchanged and expectations are high. In contrast, FURIA have struggled since their kickoff win and are trying to boost their performance with roster changes, but are likely to remain a mid-table team. A comfortable win for Leviatan is expected.

Leviatan enter Americas Stage 2 as the main title contenders, having proven themselves with a runner-up finish in Stage 1 and a title run in Masters London. They’ve since not attended the Esports World Cup, giving Leviatan enough time to rest and prepare for Stage 2, making Leviatan a team to watch even early into the tournament.
FURIA haven’t had the most promising display in Stage 1 nor at the EWC qualifiers, losing their status as one of the region’s top teams. And until proven otherwise, they will remain a tier below Leviatan.

Leviatan With High Expectations for Stage 2
Leviatan have emerged as one of VCT America’s top teams over the last few months. They secured a silver medal at Stage 1 after a closely contested 2-3 loss to G2 Esports in the grand finals, and have since won VALORANT Masters London.
Leviatan also missed the Esports World Cup, having crashed out of the qualifiers in fifth-sixth place. This, however, will work in their favour, as Leviatan have had time to rest and prepare for the challenges ahead.

FURIA With More to Show
FURIA kicked off the season with a gold medal from VCT Americas Kickoff. But they’ve not reached the same heights since. FURIA finished the Masters Santiago in seventh-eighth place and recreated that placement in Stage 1, struggling to keep up with the region’s elite.
Even in the Esports World Cup qualifiers, FURIA failed to perform, crashing out in seventh-eighth with defeats against 100 Thieves and FURIA.
In a bid to find more success, FURIA have signed Shyy and basic to their roster, with basic returning after serving as a substitute. These moves should not move the needle too much for FURIA, who seem poised to remain a mid-table squad.

Verdict
FURIA have not looked great since their title run in the VCT Americas Kickoff, and they’ve failed to prove themselves as a competitive squad in their region. While FURIA have done relatively well against bottom-table teams, they’ve yet to catch up with elite rosters such as Leviatan.
Leviatan are billed as VCT America’s top dogs ahead of Stage 2 and for all the right reasons. They placed second in Stage 1 and won Masters London. They’ve also had enough time to rest after the Masters in London and should enter Stage 2 fresh.
Anything less than a comfortable win for Leviatan will be a major disappointment.
