Team Falcons Look Shaky

Falcons looked terrible against MOUZ, namely on Ancient (6-13) and Inferno (3-16). But it is not like they’ve shown anything exceptional in the other two wins, having dropped Ancient against LVG (10-13) and against Legacy (10-13).
Evidently, Ancient isn't Falcons’ strongest map, but that is not their only issue. Team Falcons simply haven’t been playing as well as they did during the Major and have been very underwhelming overall.

G2 Esports qualified for the BLAST Open Fall playoffs by finishing Group A in third place. There, they bested Aurora Gaming (2-0), then lost to Team Spirit (0-2), and bounced back with two lower bracket wins against Natus Vincere (2-0) and Aurora Gaming (2-1).
Overall, G2 Esports have looked solid, and they’ve not shown many weaknesses. Admittedly, they got outmuscled by Spirit, but that’s hardly a concern given Spirit’s form. Against any other team, G2 have shown up, both as a unit and individually, showing good form ahead of their first playoff match.

Team Falcons appear as the better team on paper, but they’ve been too inconsistent and underwhelming this event. Ancient, in particular, is their weak map, and Falcons are not particularly great on Inferno either, which gives G2 Esports a solid chance not only to steal a map, but potentially win the series.
