DetonatioN FocusMe have been a competitive mid-table team this entire season, and Stage 2 has been no exception. While DFM have not established themselves as one of the top contenders for the VCT Pacific trophy, their run through the Stage 2 group stage has been quite impressive.
Following a slow start to the stage, losing to DRX (1-2) and Paper Rex (0-2), DetonatioN FocusMe have managed to turn things around in Week 3, when they defeated VARREL (2-1) and T1 (2-1).
With the latter game, DetonatioN FocusMe proved they can challenge VCT Pacific’s top dogs, and while some may view that victory as a fluke, the eye test proves that the Japanese squad have simply played better.
There seems to be a lot of unexplored potential with this squad, and given their most recent performances, DFM are hard to doubt ahead of the final week of play.
