In their most recent UCL appearance, Atleti defeated red-hot PSV 3-2 in Eindhoven, firing nine shots on target and generating 2.23 xG. Alexander Sorloth starred with one goal and one assist. 

Sorloth was also the match-winner in Atletico’s latest La Liga outing, scoring the only goal in a 1-0 home win over Deportivo Alaves last weekend, marking a third victory in their last four league games.

Atletico Madrid are in much better shape right now than Galatasaray, winning six out of their last eight games. I will back them to push for victory here and find three points to boost their Top 8 placement chances.
