Middlesbrough have demonstrated strong performances at home this season, instilling confidence for their Championship clash against an injury-depleted Millwall. With key players missing, Millwall face an uphill struggle, making Middlesbrough clear favorites. Backing Boro for the win at odds of 1.62 and with a 4-unit stake is the key recommendation. Expect Middlesbrough to capitalize on home advantage and continue their impressive run at the Riverside.

Middlesbrough Are a Top Championship Home Team

Kim Hellberg’s Middlesbrough have made a strong start to the 2026/27 season and are fourth in the Championship. The Teesside outfit have won four of their opening six league games, including three consecutive home victories.

Boro began the new season with a 1-0 home win against Wrexham in the EFL Cup. Further victories came against Lincoln 2-1 and West Brom 3-1 at the Riverside.

Hellberg’s side continued their 100% win streak at home this season with a 4-3 triumph over Norwich. Boro had 2.07 XG and Sebastian Berhalter, Amario Cozier-Duberry and Ashley Phillips scored.

Millwall Dropping Down the Table

Millwall were top of the Championship table after winning their opening two matches. The Lions have lost three of their following four and dropped to 13th.

The London side’s decline began with a 5-1 loss at Southampton and a 3-0 defeat against Wrexham at home. Millwall’s only recent victory was a 4-0 home win against newly promoted Bolton.

Alex Neil’s outfit couldn’t build momentum and lost 3-1 at Blackburn. Lyndon Dykes cancelled out Blackburn’s opener and Millwall conceded two second-half goals.
