Millwall are strong at home and enter this Championship fixture against Wrexham with back-to-back wins at the Den. The Lions have lost just once in their last seven matches and are favored to win, as Wrexham struggle with a winless streak and mounting injuries. Recent form and home advantage put Millwall in pole position, making a home win the likely outcome. Wrexham's ongoing difficulties in the league and lack of championship threat mean the value bet is on Millwall to take all three points.

H2H

Wrexham have a 10-7 advantage against Millwall, alongside 11 draws.

Millwall to Use Home Advantage at the Den

Millwall are in strong recent form and have lost just once in their previous seven in all
competitions.

The south London team have won four of their last six matches, including two victories at the Den. Alex Neil’s side beat Antwerp 1-0 in pre-season and Norwich 3-0 in the Championship at home.

The Lions followed the Norwich league win with a 1-0 EFL Cup victory at Cambridge. Neil’s side were in control, allowing 0.45 XG and facing just one shot on target.

Millwall suffered their first defeat of the season on Saturday and lost 5-1 at Southampton. Mark Sykes opened the scoring on 15 minutes before the Lions shipped five goals.

Wrexham Lacking a Championship Threat

Phil Parkinson’s Wrexham have failed to win in their last six competitive games. The Welsh outfit have lost three games in that spell.

The Red Dragons’ inconsistent form continued early in the 2026/27 campaign. Wrexham lost 1-0 at Middlesbrough in the EFL Cup before 1-1 league draws with Cardiff and Watford.

The winless run continued on Friday after a 2-1 Championship home defeat against Birmingham. Wrexham allowed 1.52 XG, faced four shots on target and Callum Doyle scored in the second half.

Predicted Starting Lineups & Team News

Millwall (4-3-3): Max Crocombe; Mark Sykes, Caleb Taylor, Jake Cooper, Zak Sturge; Camiel Neghli, Casper De Norre, Jenson Metcalfe; Tairyk Arconte, Josh Coburn, Kyrell Lisbie

Attackers Mathis Servais and Mihailo Ivanovic and midfield pair Derek Mazou-Sacko and Femi Azeez are injured.

Defender Ryan Leonard and Alfie Doughty are also injured and ruled out against Wrexham.

Lukas Jensen missed the Southampton game due to a quadriceps injury. Alex Neil explained that the goalkeeper would miss a ‘considerable period’ following the injury.

Wrexham (3-4-2-1): Anthony Patterson; Zak Vyner, Dominic Hyam, Callum Doyle; Danny Imray, Ben Whiteman, Matty James, Jacques Ekomie; Ollie Rathbone, Lewis O'Brien; Sam Smith

Centre-back Libby Cacace is unavailable due to a calf issue.

George Thomason is sidelined following a recent injury. Phil Parkinson confirmed the defender’s upcoming absence and said, "Unfortunately Tommo got injured last week, and he's going to be out for 10 weeks."

Verdict

Millwall have winning momentum at home and Wrexham are in unconvincing form. There’s value on a home win in this Championship clash.
