Monaco vs Juventus Predictions & Tips - Double Chance Tipped in UCL

Monaco and Juventus are set to clash in a high-stakes Champions League match. Monaco, currently a strong force at home, needs a favorable result to secure a spot in the playoffs. Despite Juventus' edge in their historical head-to-head record, Monaco's impressive home form suggests a closely contested game with potential for both teams to score. Juventus has already secured their playoff round spot, but Monaco's resilience at Stade Louis II and their recent unbeaten run in home UCL games make this a tightly anticipated fixture.

Monaco vs Juventus Predictions

Monaco need a positive result to secure a playoff spot, and they could avoid defeat in a likely competitive Champions League contest. I'm backing BTTS and a home win or draw in France.

Monaco Tough to Beat in France

  • Monaco are unbeaten in 6 of their last 7 home matches (Champions League)
  • Monaco have seen BTTS in 5 of their last 6 matches
  • Juventus failed to win 5 of their last 6 away matches (Champions League)
  • Juventus have seen BTTS in 2 of their last 3 away matches (Champions League)

Juventus Edge H2H Record

Monaco and Juventus will meet for the first time since 2017. Juventus won three and drew one of four previous Champions League encounters.

Monaco Break Losing Run

Monaco turn their attention to the Champions League after grinding out a goalless draw in their Ligue 1 contest at Le Havre last weekend. In a match of few clear-cut opportunities, Sebastien Pocognoli's side held on for a point at Stade Oceane.

Les Rouges et Blancs have not been at their best in recent weeks, with only one win picked up from five games played in 2026. A disappointing domestic campaign sees Monaco placed 10th in Ligue 1.

Stronger in continental competition, Pocognoli's side have lost just one of their last five Champions League matches. Monaco remain unbeaten in three home UCL games this season, leaving them 21st in the standings with nine points.

Juventus Thrash Napoli

Juventus come into Wednesday's final round of Champions League, league phase fixtures after an impressive 3-0 win against Napoli last weekend. Late goals from Kenan Yildiz and Filip Kostic secured a somewhat flattering Serie A victory for Luciano Spalletti's side.

I Bianconeri are in excellent form, with eight wins and only one defeat recorded from ten previous fixtures across all competitions. Juventus did slip to a 1-0 reversal at Cagliari in their most recent road trip.

In the Champions League, the Old Lady have been inconsistent on their travels, with four points picked up from three away fixtures this season (W1, D1, L1). Placed 15th in the competition with 12 points on the board, Juventus have already secured a place in the playoff round.

Predicted Lineups and Team News

Monaco (4-4-2) Philipp Kohn; Vanderson, Thilo Kehrer, Caio Henrique, Kassoum Ouattara; Maghnes Akliouche, Denis Zakaria, Lamine Camara, Aleksandr Golovin; Mika Biereth, Folarin Balogun.

Head coach Pocognoli is unable to call on several first-team players this week. Takumi Minamino, Paul Pogba, Christian Mawissa, Lukas Hradecky, Mohammed Salisu and Eric Dier are all ruled out, while Wout Faes is suspended.

Juventus (4-2-3-1) Michele Di Gregorio; Pierre Kalulu, Bremer, Lloyd Kelly, Andrea Cambiaso; Manuel Locatelli, Khephren Thuram; Weston McKennie, Fabio Miretti, Kenan Yildiz; Jonathan David.

Juventus boss Spalletti has no new injury issues and seems likely to retain confidence in the same XI that dismissed Napoli on Sunday. Injured trio Daniele Rugani, Dusan Vlahovic and Arkadiusz Milik are still unavailable.

Verdict

Monaco look a little over-priced to avoid defeat in Wednesday's Champions League clash. I fancy both teams to score, and the hosts to win or draw at Stade Louis II.
