Spain heads into their Nations League clash against the Czech Republic in exceptional form, riding an unbeaten streak of 40 matches and displaying attacking prowess with big wins over England and Croatia. Lamine Yamal is in sensational form, scoring first in back-to-back games and netting 11 in his last 8 across club and country. In contrast, the Czech Republic is winless in five, struggling under Santi Denia and missing key players due to injuries and suspensions. Expect Spain to continue their dominance and Yamal to be a key threat.

Spanish Dominance Continues

Spain are currently on the longest unbeaten run in international football history. The southern European outfit are undefeated in 40 consecutive games, winning 31.

La Roja won the 2026 World Cup, beating Portugal 1-0, Belgium 2-1 and France 2-0 in the knockout rounds. Luis De La Fuente’s side defeated Argentina 1-0 after extra time in the final.

The world champions started their Nations League campaign with a 3-2 win against England at Wembley. Lamine Yamal scored after just two minutes and Spin had 3.12 XG.

Another victory followed on Tuesday as De La Fuente’s team cruised to a 4-1 home win against Croatia. Yamal scored first and Marc Pubill and Nico Williams also found the net as La Roja dominated with 64% possession and 1.81 XG.

Czech Republic Outplayed in the Nations League

Santi Denia has struggled to turn around the Czech Republic’s fortunes since his appointment in July. The Lions are on a five-match winless streak, losing four and conceding 10.

The central European team were eliminated from the 2026 World Cup group stage after two losses and one draw.

Denia was then appointed as the nation’s new manager and oversaw a 2-1 home loss to Croatia on his debut. Czech Republic were second best, allowing 1.84 XG and attempting two shots on target.

The Lions are bottom of Nations League Group A3 after a 2-0 home defeat against England. Pavel Sulc was sent off in the first half and the Czech Republic conceded two second-half goals.
