Rögle BK is favored to continue their dominant home form in the CHL against HC Davos. Having won all recent competitive matches at Catena Arena and kept opponents to a minimum number of goals, Rögle’s defensive strength stands out. Davos, while explosive in attack, have struggled significantly away from home, especially in Sweden. Key betting angles include Rögle’s money line, under 5.5 goals in the match, and Davos under 2.5 team goals. Backing Rögle at home is the main recommendation, with expectations of a low-scoring contest.

Rögle BK vs HC Davos CHL 2026-27 Predictions & Betting Tips - Back Rögle at Home

Rögle are backed to continue their perfect competitive home record by beating HC Davos, with Under 5.5 goals and Davos Under 2.5 team goals also appealing in a matchup where the Swedish side have been extremely difficult to break down at Catena Arena.

Rögle's overall CHL record of two wins and two losses hides a dramatic home-away split. They were beaten 4-0 by Plzeň and 1-0 by Pardubice on the road before returning to Ängelholm and shutting out Salzburg 5-0 and Tappara 4-0.

Their domestic home form strengthens that angle. Rögle have beaten Djurgården 3-1, Linköping 2-1 after overtime and Timrå 4-1 in their first three SHL home games. The Timrå win took their competitive home run to five straight victories across the SHL and CHL.

Davos are certainly dangerous. They are 3-1 in the CHL and have scored 17 goals, but their lone defeat was a heavy 6-2 loss in Sweden against Skellefteå. They have also found life considerably harder away from home in Switzerland.

  • All four Rögle CHL games have finished Under 5.5 goals, with totals of 4, 1, 5 and 4.
  • Rögle's first three SHL home games finished 3-1, 2-1 and 4-1, meaning all three also stayed Under 5.5.
  • Rögle have conceded 0, 0, 1, 1 and 1 goals across their five competitive home games.
  • Davos are 1-3 in their first four Swiss National League away games, losing at Bern, Rapperswil and Biel while winning 3-0 at Ambri.

Rögle BK Form

Rögle's CHL campaign began badly with consecutive road defeats to Plzeň and Pardubice without scoring a goal. Their response at home could hardly have been stronger, beating Salzburg 5-0 before another shutout against Tappara, 4-0. The CHL master has Rögle at nine goals scored and five conceded through four games, with both victories coming at Catena Arena.

Their SHL results have followed a similar pattern at home. Rögle beat Djurgården 3-1, edged Linköping 2-1 in overtime and most recently defeated Timrå 4-1. Against Timrå they allowed 40 shots but Calle Clang and the Rögle defence kept the visitors scoreless through the opening 40 minutes.

They did lose 3-2 at Växjö in their latest league outing, but returning to Catena Arena is significant given the numbers there so far.

HC Davos Form

Davos have been much more explosive in Europe, beating Storhamar 3-2 after overtime, Eisbären Berlin 8-2 and GKS Tychy 4-2 before being beaten 6-2 by Skellefteå. Their 17 goals through four CHL games are considerably more than Rögle's nine.

Their Swiss National League start has been less convincing. Davos opened with a 4-1 win over the SCL Tigers before losing four straight against Bern, Zug, Fribourg and Rapperswil. They responded with wins over Lausanne, Ambri and Ajoie before Saturday's 4-3 defeat at Biel. That leaves them 4-5 through nine domestic games.

The recent improvement deserves respect, but the road record remains the concern. Davos have lost three of four domestic away games, while their previous trip to Sweden in the CHL ended in that 6-2 defeat against Skellefteå.
