Goals were certainly not a problem for either side on opening weekend, with Frölunda beating Växjö 5-4 and Färjestad demolishing Örebro 7-0.
That's 12 goals scored between the two teams, and the attacking threat was spread throughout their line-ups. Frölunda's five goals came from five different scorers, while seven different Färjestad players found the net against Örebro.
Frölunda have also shown plenty offensively beyond the SHL opener, scoring 14 goals across four CHL games before the domestic season began. With Färjestad coming to Gothenburg after scoring four times in the first period alone against Örebro, Over 5.5 Goals is our pick.

Bet: Växjö Lakers to win including OT/shootout
Växjö came away empty-handed from their SHL opener, but there was plenty to like in their 5-4 defeat against Frölunda.
The Lakers outshot Frölunda 27-25 and recovered from 3-2 down to take a 4-3 lead in the third period before conceding twice late. They had also scored six goals against Salzburg in their final CHL game before the SHL season.
Malmö deserve credit for overturning a 3-0 deficit to beat HV71 5-4 in overtime, but they were forced to chase that game for much of the night. Back at Vida Arena, we're backing Växjö to respond, with overtime and shootout included.
Rögle BK vs Djurgårdens IF Prediction
Bet: Rögle BK to win including OT/shootout
Rögle also started the SHL season with a defeat, going down 4-2 at Luleå despite racing into a 2-0 first-period lead through Karson Kuhlman and Nathaniel Clurman.
The result ended an impressive defensive run after Rögle had recorded consecutive CHL shutouts against Salzburg and Tappara, winning those games 5-0 and 4-0.
Djurgården lost their opener 3-0 at home to newly promoted Björklöven. The scoreline was harsher than their performance suggests, with Djurgården actually winning the shot count 38-18, but they still failed to turn that pressure into a goal.
