Barbados Tridents, two-time CPL champions, have signed a landmark sponsorship with 1xBet for the 2026 Caribbean Premier League. This partnership sees 1xBet branding take center stage on players’ shirts and across promotional activities. The sponsorship aims to boost the Tridents’ bid for a third title, while 1xBet leverages the CPL’s global audience of over one billion viewers. The Barbados Tridents will be sponsored by 1xBet for the 2026 Caribbean Premier League season following a new sponsorship deal.
The Tridents are two-time champions of the CPL having lifted the title in 2014 and 2019 and will have the backing of 1xBet for the 2026 season.
A new sponsorship deal will be 1xBet branding on Tridents shirts for the entire 2026 CPL as well as advertising during matches played in Barbados.
1xBet will also feature across the team’s social media channels and other promotional activities during the partnership.

A Barbados Tridents representative said: “Our team have won the CPL twice, and last season we fell just short of the final. With the support of our new sponsor, 1xBet, we hope to improve on last year’s result and claim the title for a third time.”

Return Of The Tridents
The Barbados Tridents are a founding member of the Caribbean Premier League and are two-time CPL champions following victories in 2014 and 2019.
They became Barbados Royals from 2021 to 2025 following an acquisition by the IPL's Royals Sports Group.
But the Barbados franchise returns to the original Tridents name for the 2026 CPL.
