  • Spreadex named Spread Betting Operator of the Year for a second time
  • Award comes after recent prizes for financial side of the business
Spreadex has been named the EGR Awards Spread Betting Operator of the Year for 2020.

The UK-based sports spread betting firm has won the award for a second time after first scooping the accolade in 2017.

Spreadex spokesperson Connor Campbell said: “It has been a really tricky year for the sports industry as a whole, especially during those dark spring months when the world ground to a halt.

“That’s why we at Spreadex are honoured to have been recognised for our work both during the strictest days of lockdown, and since competitions like the Premier League and Champions League have returned.

“We have strived to provide bettors with an exemplary service throughout the last 12 months, both on our spread betting and fixed odds betting products. That has included new additions like our Bet Builder feature and three different types of Cash-Out options, while building prices on any sport we could find as stadiums were shuttered around the globe, from live-streamed Belarusian football and US horse racing, to Russian basketball and beyond.”

Established in 1999, Spreadex is regulated by the Gambling Commission and offers sports spread betting and fixed odds, in addition to casino betting and financial spread betting all from the same account.

The financial side of the business was recently named Best Spread Betting Provider at the 2020 City of London Wealth Management Awards, and also won awards for Best Mobile Trading Platform and Best Trading Alerts System at the 2020 ADVFN Awards.
