Notre Dame Take 4-0 Record To Chapel Hill

Notre Dame head to North Carolina boasting a 100% record, having won each of their first four games of the season.

The Fighting Irish, who missed out on the College Football Playoffs last season, kicked off the season with a 41-13 blowout of Wisconsin at Lambeau Field.

They followed that up a week later in their home opener as they shut out Rice in a 52-0 victory.

Notre Dame made it three-in-a-row a week later, although it was in unconvincing fashion as they beat Michigan State 27-10.

The Fighting Irish made much lighter work of last week's outing though, as they downed Purdue 49-10 in what was their first official road game of the season.

North Carolina 2-1 Heading Into Fighting Irish Clash

North Carolina return to action after a weekend off holding a 2-1 record.

The Tar Heels opened the campaign with a game against a TCU team that wrecked Bill Belichick's debut a year ago, and they were able to get a measure of revenge.

They made the long trip to Dublin, Ireland worthwhile with a 15-10 win over the Horned Frogs.

North Carolina backed that up in their home opener a week later, as they eased to a 35-3 victory against East Tennessee State.

The Tar Heels were unable to make it to 3-0 though, as they were out-scored 22-3 in the second half to lose 28-20 at Clemson.

Verdict

Notre Dame @ North Carolina

Notre Dame’s offense has been consistent, and the defense has given up little through four games.

That consistency is tough to ignore, so we are leaning towards the Fighting Irish covering despite they sizeable number.
