Rising Bejlek Extends Breakthrough Run

Sara Bejlek continued her strong run with a dominant 6-2, 6-2 victory. It marked her first hard-court win at WTA 1000 level.

Her only previous deep run at this level came in Madrid 2024, where she reached the fourth round. Aside from that event, she had not managed a main-draw win in a WTA 1000 tournament before this week.

The 20-year-old recently captured her maiden tour-level title in Abu Dhabi, winning seven matches as a qualifier.
