The Brazilian beat Payton Talbott by unanimous decision, and then scored his biggest win to date as he beat former champion Cody Garbandt on points.
Barcelos wrapped up 2025 with a decision win over Ricky Simon, and then began 2026 with a split decision success against Montel Jackson.
