The Ultimate Fighting Championship has taken over the South Lawn at The White House ahead of Sunday night’s historic UFC Freedom 250 event.
As part of America’s 250th anniversary celebrating, the UFC and president Donald Trump have teamed up to hold the first ever sporting event at the of the official residence of the Commander-In-Chief – with in excess of 4,000 invited guests set to take in the seven-fight card headlined by two title fights.
The UFC has erected a huge structure over the Octagon – with many referring to it as ‘The Claw’ – and the first shots of the setup have been released.
Headlining the night’s action is a lightweight title fight between Ilia Topuria and Justin Gaethje, while in the co-main event Alex Pereira and Ciryl Gane go head-to-head for the interim heavyweight crown.
