North Macedonia achieved a historic milestone by reaching the Round of 16 in the previous European Championship 2023, losing to eventual winners Italy.
A lot of eyes will be on their veteran player and national icon Nikola Gjorgiev, who is one of the best European scorers of the last decade.
North Macedonia competed in the European League this season and finished in 16th place with three wins and three defeats. Their most recent appearance was a 3-0 loss to Israel in late June.
