Poland secured their second Volleyball Nations League trophy last year and will surely be looking to win back-to-back championships. The start of the new campaign has been problematic so far though, sitting in 7th place with a 2-2 record.
The Poles started the campaign by justifying the favorite tag against Cuba 3-0, but then suffered back-to-back defeats against Slovenia and Japan, both times with the winner being decided after five sets.

Belgium qualified for the Volleyball Nations League 2026 by earning the top FIVB ranking position among non-participating nations and so far their results have been decent.
After causing a massive upset in the opening round and beating silver medal winners at the World Championship 2025 Bulgaria 3-1, they were beaten two times in a row by Brazil and Serbia, with 3-1 being the scoreline on both occasions.
Belgium returned to winning ways in the fourth round against Iran 3-2, almost wasting a two-set lead.
