Besiktas vs Zalgiris Kaunas Live Stream & Tips – Home Advantage in the EuroLeague
Besiktas are tipped to win their EuroLeague fixture against Zalgiris, having recently defeated Baskonia, Virtus and Maccabi Tel Aviv. The Turkish side have shown they belong at this level, especially in front of their home crowd. Zalgiris, while in good shape and coming off three victories, have displayed inconsistency in those performances. The main recommendation is a Besiktas win, supported by their strong recent results and home advantage, though Zalgiris's unpredictable form remains a factor.
- Besiktas are very competitive as newcomers to the elite division

Match Preview
This is going to be the first head-to-head clash between Besiktas and Zalgiris Kaunas since September 2013, when the Turkish side won 78-62 in the Rixos Cup. The latest odds are suggesting a close match in Istanbul.
Besiktas Making a Solid Impression on Their EuroLeague Return
This is Besiktas' first EuroLeague appearance in 13 years and, so far, the Black Eagles have made a solid impression, sitting in the middle of the standings with four victories and five defeats.
Last Tuesday, the Turkish side hosted the European champions Olympiakos and remained shoulder to shoulder with their opponents for three quarters, but ultimately suffered an 81-73 defeat. Their 15 turnovers proved very costly, while Jaylen Nowell was their standout performer with 15 points.
A couple of days later, Dusan Alimpijevic's side were tagged as underdogs against Virtus Bologna but claimed a 103-101 victory in Italy, scoring 33 points in the final ten minutes. Recent signing Lonnie Walker led the way this time with 30 points, five assists and four rebounds.
Zalgiris on a Good Run
Zalgiris Kaunas have high expectations in the EuroLeague this season after signing NBA star Jonac Valanciunas and Carsen Edwards earlier this summer, but the Lithuanian side had a rocky start and currently sit in 10th place with a 5-4 record.
The Greens are riding a three-game winning streak, which started on 23rd October with a 105-85 home victory against ASVEL. This was followed by a dominant performance in Italy, where Zalgiris beat Virtus Bologna 91-74, with Valanciunas dominating the floor with 17 points and 11 rebounds.
The Lithuanian side made it three in a row last Friday, outplaying Partizan Belgrade 87-80 in front of their home crowd. Valanciunas played a big role again with 16 points and eight rebounds, while Edwards was the top scorer with 17 points.

Verdict
Besiktas have shown they belong in the EuroLeague, beating Baskonia, Virtus and Maccabi Tel Aviv recently, and I expect the Black Eagles to step it up in front of the home crowd. Zalgiris are in good shape, but have been inconsistent in all three victories, so I will back the Turkish side to win.
