Paris vs Monaco Game 2 Live Stream & Tips – Paris to Double Their Lead in the LNB Finals
Monaco exceeded expectations in Game 1 of the playoffs but ultimately failed to secure a win. The preview suggests Monaco is unlikely to replicate such high shooting efficiency in the next matchup, especially with lingering injury problems and other squad issues. The recommendation is to back Paris to cover a –4.5 point handicap in Game 2, making them the more reliable bet given the current circumstances.

Match Preview
The LNB Finals continue in Paris after the regular-season leaders drew first blood and moved one step closer to the title. Monaco had control for long stretches of Game 1 but now face extra pressure after allowing a big fourth-quarter comeback.
Paris Looking to Tighten Their Grip on the Series
Paris were the most successful team in the French LNB regular season, finishing 1st with a 22-8 record, although they were pushed hard by 8th-seeded Strasbourg in the quarterfinals and needed three games to advance.
The start of the semifinal series against Cholet was rough too, losing in front of the home crowd 90-89, but they responded with three straight victories 100-77, 95-86 and 94-91 to advance to the grand finals. Nadir Hifi was the star of the series, finishing as top scorer on two occasions.
Paris opened the finals with a 95-91 victory against Monaco last weekend, producing a massive fourth-quarter comeback and winning the final period 28-15. Hifi stepped up once again and finished as the standout performer with 23 points.
Monaco Struggle With Injuries
This entire season has been very controversial for Monaco, marked by inconsistency, a high number of injuries, players going on strike due to financial problems and a disappointing EuroLeague campaign, but they still found a way to reach the LNB Finals.
They cruised past Bourg 2-0 in the quarterfinals, while the semifinal series started with a dominant 103-88 home victory against Nanterre before eventually advancing with a 3-1 win.
Monaco had a nine-point advantage heading into the final quarter in Game 1 against Paris but completely lost defensive control and ended up losing 95-91. Alpha Diallo delivered a strong performance with 21 points and eight rebounds, but it was not enough to protect the lead.
Verdict
Even though Monaco performed above their usual playoff standards, they still failed to close out Game 1. I don’t expect the visitors to repeat that level of shooting efficiency, especially with the ongoing issues around the squad and injuries, so backing Paris in a –4.5 handicap looks like the best bet.
