Natus Vincere enter BLAST SLAM VIII following a very promising runner-up finish at PGL Wallachia Season 9, where they made it all the way to the grand finals, only to lose against Team Yandex.
Despite the bittersweet ending to the tournament, NaVi have proven they can compete at the highest level. The problem with this is that Natus Vincere have long been regarded as one of the more inconsistent teams, and they’ve not washed away that tag in Wallachia either.
Nevertheless, NaVi have, this month, beaten both LGD Gaming and Xtreme Gaming, which is proof enough that they can punch up and cause a few upsets.
Among the dark horses are NAVI, a team that has been wildly inconsistent, showing flashes of brilliance before struggling dramatically in other events.
