BNK FEARX and Nongshim RedForce are set to clash in the LCK 2026, both eager for a top-six finish but currently struggling in form. While neither team is setting the league alight, FEARX have shown recent improvement, especially with their new ADC Taeyoon and playmaking around objectives. RedForce, meanwhile, continue to underperform, making them a risky bet until results improve. Prediction: FEARX have the edge. Fans can watch the match on leading esports streams or betting sites.

BNK FEARX vs Nongshim RedForce Betting Predictions

BNK FEARX and Nongshim RedForce will face off on Saturday, May 16, in the seventh week of League of Legends Champions Korea 2026 Rounds 1-2, as both squads look to find traction and enter the race for a top-six finish.
While placing in the upper part of the table seems unlikely for BNK FEARX just as much as for Nongshim RedForce, this game presents the two squads a solid chance to get their names on the board, as both teams have been struggling with their form this split.

While RedForce have been looking shaky for longer, BNK FEARX have started to show some signs of life and have now produced three solid games of late. They even played well against Gen.G last time out, and even though FEARX came out short, they had their moments.

In their current stage, BNK FEARX are in a much better shape.

  • BNK FEARX are improving
  • Nongshim RedForce have potential, but that’s about it
  • This is FEARX’s game to lose

Nongshim RedForce and BNK FEARX have met only twice this season. They clashed in the first week of the LCK Cup, when BNK FEARX won 2-0, while RedForce got their revenge in a rematch in April.

  • BNK FEARX 2-0 Nongshim RedForce – January 15, 2026
  • Nongshim RedForce 2-0 BNK FEARX – April 15, 2026

BNK FEARX Are Showing Signs of Life

BNK FEARX haven’t had the best run in LCK Rounds 1-2, relative to what they showed in the LCK Cup. They have four wins and nine losses, which is not great, but they have won two of the last four games.

The signing of Taeyoon seems like the right move, as he and Kellin have been playing well recently and are getting more comfortable in the bottom lane, so things are likely to get better for FEARX. That does not mean that FEARX is without issues, though, but they are slowly getting back into form and might reach their old levels soon.

In their last outing, FEARX lost to Gen.G 0-2, but they managed to find solid openings.

On both maps, FEARX found themselves in solid positions, but fumbled their chances with poor execution. While optimal, FEARX have shown good neutral objective setup, and I like their overall approach.

Things are looking up for FEARX.

BNK FEARX Squad & Team News

No roster changes for BNK FEARX.

  • Song "Clear" Hyeon-min – top lane
  • Jeon "Raptor" Eo-jin – jungle
  • Lee "VicLa" Dae-kwang – mid lane
  • Nam "Diable" Dae-geun – ADC
  • Kim "Kellin" Hyeong-gyu – support

Nongshim RedForce Are Struggling

Nongshim RedForce suffered their ninth loss of the split earlier this week against T1, which comes as no surprise. T1 have been looking much better of late, whereas RedForce seem to be getting progressively worse, with losses to BRION and Kiwoom DRX.

RedForce have been completely lifeless lately, but they still field a capable roster, so it is fair to speculate that they will find their rhythm at one point.

The problem is that Nongshim RedForce are a hard sell in their current state a,nd until they show some improvement, they will remain an iffy team.

Nongshim RedForce Squad & Team News

Nongshim RedForce have not announced any roster changes since the arrival of Diable.

  • Hwang "Kingen" Seong-hoon – top lane
  • Bae "Sponge" Young-jun – jungle
  • Lee "Scout" Ye-chan – mid lane
  • Nam “Diable” Dae-geun – ADC
  • Son "Lehends" Si-woo – support

Verdict

Neither team is in good shape, but while we can criticise BNK FEARX and Nongshim RedForce for what they’ve produced this split, FEARX have been at least showing some signs of life recently.

Across the last four games, FEARX have been playing much better, and their new ADC is evidently getting more confident with each passing game. More recently, FEARX played a relatively strong game against Gen.G, and if they can continue on this path, they might return to their LCK Cup levels.

On paper, RedForce are dangerous, but until they show better performances, I will continue to doubt them.
