T1 have been one of the strongest teams in the region this season, and have had a strong start to the stage, until their shock loss to DetonatioN FocusMe last week. DFM proved that T1 can bleed; however, this inspires little confidence that DRX can properly challenge VCT Kickoff finalists.

T1 Off A Rough Week
T1 had an explosive start to the stage, beating Paper Rex 2-1. Since then, they’ve looked shaky, with a 0-2 loss against VARRERL, a 2-0 victory against Team Secret, and a rough 1-2 defeat to DetonatioN FocusMe.
The latter match was a shockingly bad performance from T1, who simply could not find any momentum and suffered two bad beats on Sunset and Ascent, both 5-13. They looked more polished on Haven (13-11), but even on that map, things would’ve been much different had T1 not gone 8-5 on the attacking side.
This is one of the most stacked rosters in the league, with a very high ceiling. But their form is concerning, and unless T1 show improvement in the final week, they might drop at least one map against what appears to be an inferior team.

DRX have managed only one win over the first three weeks of play. They defeated DetonatioN FocusMe in the opening week, but have since lost against Team Secret (0-2), Paper Rex (0-2), and VARREL (1-2).
This run is concerning. Yet even the eye test does not show anything inspiring, as DRX appear very lost in the arena, with no clear plan on how to approach their games.
More notably, Flicker has been struggling and is DRX’s lowest-rated player at 0.67. This also ranks him the second-worst player of the stage, just slightly above RRQ’s Kushy at 0.66.
Unless Flicker improves, DRX will struggle, as he seems to lose all duels.
