VARREL Are Holding on Well
VARREL have exceeded expectations this stage, having won two out of three games played. They handled Team Secret (2-1) on the opening day of VCT Pacific Stage 2, and added a major upset victory against T1 (2-0) in the second week – only to lose to DetonatioN FocusMe on Thursday.
The latter game was a close one, ending in 11-13 on Lotus, 13-3 on Ascent, and 13-15 on Haven. VARREL had a real chance to defeat DFM and secure their third straight win; however, while this all sounds impressive, VARREL still have more to prove.

Not only are DRX on a two-game losing streak, but they also suffered a bad defeat against Paper Rex last week, when DRX got run over with 1-13 on Summit and 6-13 on Breeze. In DRX’s defence, Paper Rex are one of the world’s strongest teams; however, even that’s a poor excuse for DRX’s performances.
Not all is lost, however. DRX remain a stacked roster, and they’ve had a week to prepare for this affair, giving hope that the Korean squad can bounce back.
