Both teams overperformed expectations this tournament. FEARX have looked solid and produced one of their best games of the season in the previous round, whereas Team WE benefited from two slip-ups by HAJIN BRION, whom WE bested in the Swiss Stage and again in the semifinals.
Both teams have a lot more to prove, but even with their issues, FEARX should be considered the favourites. They come from a stronger region and have better individual talent. So as long as they do not collapse – as they’ve done before – FEARX should be in a fine spot to come out ahead.

FEARX Are Ramping Up
FEARX are undefeated in this tournament. They defeated Team Vitality and LGD Gaming in the Swiss Stage, and have since bested JD Gaming (3-2) and KT Rolster (3-1) in the playoffs.
In their last clash against KT Rolster, FEARX looked solid and much better than originally expected. Notably their showcased a very clean macro approach – which is very uncharacteristic of them. And if FEARX can show the same level of play on Saturday, it is more than fair to believe they can roll over Team WE.
That said, FEARX are known to make many errors in the mid-late game and tend to shoot themselves in the foot more times than not. One good game does not change this trait, and there’s a world where they collapse when it matters the most.

Team WE Are Unproven
Team WE fought their way to the Demacia Cup Global Invitational finals with a 3-2 win over HAJIN BRION, which was quite an accomplishment.
However, it is worth noting that BRION played terribly on the day, namely on maps three and four, which made it seem like Team WE are stronger than they really are.
Even though Team WE have yet to drop a game in this tournament, they’ve only beaten GAM Esports (1-0), the shaky FlyQuest (3-2), and HAJIN BRION (twice) – and in both games BRION slipped.
Considering all that, it is hard to say how strong Team WE really are and how they will do when faced with a stronger team that is less prone to choking.

Verdict
Team WE have not had a very tough road so far. They have beaten GAM Esports, FlyQuest, and HAJIN BRION, with the two meetings against the Korean squad being effectively gifted to them.
BNK FEARX have had some iffy moments as well, but they performed admirably well against KT Rolster and if that performance is any indication, they should be more than capable of sweeping the iffy Team WE on Saturday.
