FUT Esports started their VCT EMEA Stage 2 campaign with a rough loss against Natus Vincere, but they’ve since beaten Gentle Mates (2-0) and PCIFIC Esports (2-1).
Going 2-1 to kick off the stage is promising, but FUT Esports have a lot more to prove. They needed to dig deep to make it past Gentle Mates with 13-9 on Sunset and 14-12 on Haven. Moreover, FUT did not impress against PCIFIC Esports either.
The latter match could’ve easily ended in a win for PCIFIC, who kept Split (10-13) close, then won Lotus (14-12), but collapsed on Ascent (1-13).

BBL Esports started VCT EMEA Stage 2 with a 2-0 sweep of Team Vitality, who they bested with 13-11 on Haven and Split. It was a superb showing from BBL, who took down one of the league’s strongest teams, indicating strong form ahead of what appears to be a much easier opponent in FUT Esports.
