G2 Esports are 4-3 so far at the Major, having made it through Stage 3 with a 3-1 record, but have since managed to win just one more game – against FUT Esports.
The other two fixtures in Stage 3, against Team Falcons and Aurora Gaming, ended in defeats, 1-2 and 0-2, respectively.
G2 Esports had a good chance of beating Team Falcons in the first round, but choked on the decided, losing Ancient 13-16. The win over FUT Esports was a comfortable one, whereas G2 looked completely toothless against Aurora Gaming.
