GAM Esports have not looked amazing this tournament. Admittedly, they weren't expected to do much, as GAM Esports are no longer the powerhouse they were years ago, but across the two games played, GAM have struggled.
They got crushed by Team WE in the first round and couldn't make it past Team Vitality in the second. The latter match was somewhat close at times - GAM managed to keep up the pace on the first map. But a few overconfident plays cost them the win, before Vitality ran GAM over on the second.
In GAM Esports’ defence, they had to play two strong teams. But things are not going to get much better for them here, as GAM will have to play FlyQuest in the first game of the day and then straight to Shopify Rebellion.

Going 0-2 is not optimal, but Shopify Rebellion also had to play two of the tournament’s best teams, so they deserve some slack.
Neither game was particularly close, but that was to be expected, as Shopify Rebellion have been heavily outclassed individually. This will not necessarily be the case here, as GAM Esports are not at the level of either KT or JDG.
