Gen.G are set to face Nongshim RedForce in Week 6 of the LCK 2026 season, coming in as strong favourites after an impressive four-game winning streak. RedForce, on the other hand, have been struggling, recording a four-game losing streak and facing ongoing challenges with their roster, including a new ADC. Gen.G’s improved consistency and RedForce's recent poor performance make Gen.G the clear pick for this match. Fans can catch the action and live betting options via popular streaming platforms and bookmaking sites.

Gen.G vs Nongshim RedForce Betting Predictions

Gen.G and Nongshim RedForce will face off on Wednesday, May 6, in the sixth week of League of Legends Champions Korea 2026 Rounds 1-2, in a rematch from late April, when Gen.G won.

Since that game, not much has changed. Gen.G have been gaining momentum and has been performing much better than early in the split. Meanwhile, Nongshim RedForce have been struggling and are now on a four-game losing streak.

Gen.G are expected to dominate on Wednesday, and considering the two teams’ form, it is hard to argue against that logic.

  • Gen.G have beaten RedForce once before this split
  • RedForce are in a rough shape
  • The right team is favoured

Gen.G Lead the H2H

Gen.G and Nongshim RedForce have met once before this split, in the fourth week of play, when Gen.G won.

  • Gen.G 2-0 Nongshim RedForce – April 26, 2026

Gen.G Are Waking Up

Gen.G enter Week 6 of LCK Rounds 1-2 on a four-game winning streak. That run includes a 2-1 victory against Dplus KIA on Saturday, which is impressive considering Gen.G’s form early into the split.

They needed three maps to come out ahead, but showed good things. Gen.G started well and won map one with a better draft. On the second map, Dplus KIA got ahead early and took over the game before Gen.G managed to bounce back by stacking drakes and using their lead.

The third map was the complete opposite. Gen.G opted for a strong early-game composition, got a couple of winning lanes and rolled away with a lead. The last two maps were won by the team with a stronger draft; Gen.G’s success was not solely draft-related. They played well.

Gen.G Squad & Team News

No changes for Gen.G LoL roster.

  • Kim "Kiin" Ki-in – top lane
  • Kim "Canyon" Geon-bu – jungle
  • Jeong "Chovy" Ji-hoon – mid lane
  • Park "Ruler" Jae-hyuk – ADC
  • Joo "Duro" Min-kyu – support

Nongshim RedForce Are on a Slump

Nongshim RedForce are on a four-game slide, having now lost to Hanwha Life Esports, Gen.G, T1, and Kiwoom DRX. While the first three losses can be forgiven considering the level of opponents they had to face, RedForce could’ve done better against KRX.

It was a rough showing in the debut game for Diable. But it was Lehends, who had a terrible game and was the main reason why his team lost the first map.

Map two was closer. KRX took an early lead and even grabbed a baron at 26 minutes. But RedForce managed to fight back into it until KRX secured the Hextech Soul, which was the final nail in the coffin.

While Kiwoom DRX played well on the day, Nongshim RedForce did not look good, especially their support player.

Nongshim RedForce Squad & Team News

Nongshim RedForce replaced their ADC, adding Nam “Diable” Dae-geun as a replacement for Kim "Taeyoon" Tae-yoon.

  • Hwang "Kingen" Seong-hoon – top lane
  • Bae "Sponge" Young-jun – jungle
  • Lee "Scout" Ye-chan – mid lane
  • Nam “Diable” Dae-geun – ADC
  • Son "Lehends" Si-woo – support

Verdict

Nongshim RedForce looked terrible in their last game, which could be because they’re still figuring out their situation with a new ADC. Things will improve with time, but unlikely by the time they clash with Gen.G, who have been steadily improving.

As expected, Gen.G are favourites, and I don’t see a reason to doubt them. While they’ve looked less reliable early into the split, Gen.G seem to have figured some things out and are not to be underestimated.
