In the upcoming VALORANT VCT 2026 EMEA Stage 1 clash, Fnatic face GIANTX on April 23. Fnatic enter with a 3-0 record, aiming for the top spot and a semifinals ticket. Meanwhile, GIANTX holds a 2-1 record, indicative of potential but not without weaknesses. Fnatic's current form suggests dominance despite GIANTX’s capability to contest. GIANTX vs Fnatic Betting Predictions

GIANTX and Fnatic are set to face off on Thursday, April 23, in the fourth week of VALORANT Champions Tour 2026 EMEA Stage 1, marking their first clash of the season.

Fnatic enter this game with a perfect 3-0 record, which guarantees them a spot in the playoffs, but their job is far from done, as Fnatic still have to battle for the no.1 seed and direct invite to the semifinals.

GIANTX, on the other hand, are tied with Eternal Fire in second place with a 2-1 record, which is a solid indication of their form, which hasn’t been too bad. However, even in their wins, GIANTX have shown some cracks, suggesting that they’re not as polished as their record might suggest.

GIANTX are not a bad team, but their form isn’t great, making them a tough sell against one of the region’s top teams.

  • Fnatic are undefeated in Stage 1
  • GIANTX have been showing cracks
  • Fnatic are expected to win, and for all the right reasons

GIANTX Are Slowly Waking Up

GIANTX started the stage slowly, losing to Team Vitality in a 0-2 sweep. But they’ve since picked themselves up and defeated PCIFIC Esports and BBL Esports, both 2-1.

Dropping a map to PCIFIC Esports is not a nice sight, and the series as a whole was a big disappointment, considering PCIFIC won Pearl (14-12) and were not too far away from winning the deciding map, Split (10-13).

On a more positive note, GIANTX played better against BBL when they cooked up an upset. How big of an upset was it, considering BBL’s poor form is up for debate; however, it was GIANTX’s best game of the split.

GIANTX Squad & Team News

GIANTX have not announced any roster changes.

  • Kirill "Cloud" Nekhozhin
  • Miłosz "westside" Duda
  • Eduard-George "ara" Hanceriuc
  • Karel "Flickless" Maeckelbergh
  • Grzegorz "GRUBINHO" Ryczko

Fnatic Continue To Roll

Fnatic enter the fourth week of VCT EMEA Stage 1 with a 3-0 record, having beaten Eternal Fire (2-1), Team Vitality (2-0), and PCIFIC Esports (2-0). Despite the slow start, Fnatic have shown better form in the last two outings.

Admittedly, seeing them drop 11 rounds on Split against PCIFIC does not look too inspiring. However, they improved the impression with a much more dominant 13-4 victory on Lotus.

Even with a 3-0 record, Fnatic are not playing at 100% yet, and seem like they allow themselves to play a bit more loose, and take riskier fights. This, however, is not necessarily a weakness that any team in VCT EMEA can exploit.

Fnatic Squad & Team News

No changes for Fnatic.

  • Jake "Boaster" Howlett
  • Emir "Alfajer" Beder
  • Kajetan "kaajak" Haremski
  • Austin "crashies" Roberts
  • Sylvain "Veqaj" Pattyn

Verdict

Fnatic are expected to dominate on Thursday, and it is hard to argue with that. Fnatic are looking great and can secure first seed this week, so you can expect them to step it up and deliver against the shaky GIANTX.

Even though GIANTX are not a bad team, their form is iffy, so an upset is unlikely. There is a world where GIANTX take Haven, but I like my chances with Fnatic to sweep.
