Team Liquid Are Ramping Up
Team Liquid have been seriously impressive this stage. Following their 0-2 loss to Eternal Fire in the first match of Stage 2, Team Liquid have swept Team Heretics and Fnatic to secure a 2-1 record ahead of the final week of play.
Liquid needed a miracle comeback against Heretics on the first map of the series, but have otherwise been on point in the decider and across Summit (13-6) and Lotus (13-6) against Fnatic.

GIANTX have not been very convincing at this stage, and that’s saying it lightly. They ended the first week of play with defeats against Fnatic and Karmine Corp, and picked up their first victory last week, against Eternal Fire.
The latter game was a dominant victory for GIANTX, who won with 13-5 on Split and 13-7 on Ascent. However, they failed to show anything memorable against Karmine Corp and Fnatic, besides forcing Fnatic to overtime on Ascent.
With just one victory against Eternal Fire, GIANTX have yet to prove they have what it takes to challenge EMEA’s top dogs.
