The final split of the Korean League of Legends league is on the horizon, as the region’s best teams prepare for one final showdown before the LoL World Championship.

LoL Champions Korea Rounds 3-4 is set to kick off on Wednesday, July 29, as the final split of the season, and one final chance for Korean LoL teams to qualify for the World Championship.

LCK Rounds 3-4 is the continuation of the spring split, known as LCK Rounds 1-2, as the Korean league uses a unique competitive format, with teams carrying over their record from the last split into this one.

This creates situations where some squads are by default in a much better position to make a deep run and challenge for the trophy and spots at the LoL World Championship. As such, last split’s most successful squads in Hanwha Life Esports, Gen.G, and T1 enter the summer split billed as the most likely champions.

Beyond holding a stronger record, the trio have long been the most dominant squads in the region, making the current power rankings justifiable. However, as any previous LCK split has shown, there is always room for upsets and Cinderella Runs.

Here is all you need to know about LCK 2026 Rounds 3-4, including the format, favourites, and the current outright betting odds, courtesy of the top-rated esports bookmakers.

LCK 2026 Rounds 3-4 Format

LCK Rounds 3-4 has a unique format, as Rounds 3-4 is a continuation of Rounds 1-2 (spring split). As such, the team’s records from last split are carried over, and they dictate the squad’s group seeding.

The top five teams from the last split are placed in Legend Group and the rest in Rise Group. Both groups are double round-robin with all matches played as best-of-three (BO3).

The top two Legend teams receive a direct bye to Playoffs Round 2, and the next two into Playoffs Round 1. The bottom team from Legends Group and the top three teams from Rise Group proceed to the double-elimination Play-In stage.

Play-In games are best-of-five (BO5), with the two winners securing a spot in the Playoffs Round 1.

Playoffs are double-elimination with all matches played as best-of-five (BO5). The top three teams qualify for LoL Worlds.

If Hanwha Life Esports place top-three or fail to qualify, then LCK’s fourth seed for LoL Worlds will belong to the fourth-placed team.

LCK 2026 Rounds 3-4 Favourites

The third split of LoL Champions Korea will feature the same 10 teams who competed in the previous split, and with minimal roster changes across the league, the power rankings haven’t changed much.

As a result, familiar faces return to the top of the LCK food chain, with the defending champions, Hanwha Life Esports, leading the way as the top dogs and main title contenders.

Having dominated LCK Rounds 1-2, Hanwha Life Esports would be under the spotlight as one of the title contenders for the final split. But they’ve further cemented their status as title contenders with a run to the Mid-Season Invitational gold medal, proving that their LCK Rounds 1-2 run was not a fluke.

Unquestionably, HLE are one of the world’s best LoL teams. But the magic in LCK is that the league is packed with other squads who can easily be viewed as one of, if not the best team in the world.

Gen.G are close behind in the power rankings, as bookmakers’ second favourites on the outright markets.

The Korean juggernauts failed to make a run for the title in Rounds 1-2; however, they still placed third, and they added another bronze medal from the Esports World Cup. With those results, Gen.G have not placed lower than top-four across four events this season, which includes a gold medal from the LCK Cup and a semifinal run at the First Stand Tournament.

T1 are once again in the running for the LCK title, despite not hoisting the prestigious trophy once since LCK 2022 Spring. This long dry spell, however, includes two podium finishes at the MSI, five LCK silver medals, and two world championship titles.

Known to do much better on the international stage than domestically, T1 will always be a threat. Yet history has taught us that Gen.G and Hanwha Life Esports tend to do better in the LCK, justifying T1’s tag as Korea’s third-best team.

Dplus KIA and KT Rolster are the only other two teams with a chance to shake up the balance of power. However, they’re still a tier below T1, Hanwha Life Esports, and Gen.G, making a potential run to the title far less likely.
