MIBR have fought their way through the group stage with some solid results. They edged past The MongolZ 2-1 in the first round and swept 9z Team 2-0 in the upper bracket semifinals of Group A.
However, MIBR could not stop the in-form BetBoom Team in the upper bracket final and lost with 9-13 on Mirage and 14-16 on Anubis.
Despite the loss, it was a solid performance from MIBR, namely nqz, who was the third-highest-rated player on the server, with 1.12. He remains the best performer on MIBR of the tournament, with a 1.18 average, slightly ahead of venomzera at 1.17.
So far, MIBR have been holding on well and have looked better than in the weeks leading up to the tournament. While still not one of the main contenders for the title, MIBR are still not to be underestimated, as an experienced team with a fairly deep map pool.

Alliance Are Overperforming
Alliance entered FISSURE Playground #3 as one of the main candidates to crash out early. But they’ve exceeded everyone’s expectations by qualifying for the playoffs as Group B’s third seed.
Alliance started the event with a win over FaZe Clan, and while they could not stop Legacy in the upper bracket semifinals, Alliance found success against TYLOO (2-0), and magic (2-0). The latter victory was an impressive display from the Swedes, who won with 16-13 on Ancient and 13-7 on Inferno.
Admittedly, they should’ve lost the first map, but Alliance showed a lot of resilience on the day.
At this point, Alliance deserve some recognition for what they’ve produced. But they have more to prove.
