Natus Vincere and Team Falcons will clash in the opening round of Group A at Intel Extreme Masters Beijing on Monday, November 2. Team Falcons are tipped to win, having beaten NaVi in their last two meetings and possessing a deeper map pool, which is expected to be advantageous in this best-of-three format. While both teams have struggled for consistency, Natus Vincere's poor recent results and limited preparation time further strengthen the case for Falcons. Neither side has announced roster changes ahead of the match.

Given that Falcons bested NaVi just under a month ago, it's no surprise they’re expected to find the same success this week. Moreover, Natus Vincere have been in terrible shape of late, struggling against both lower-rated opponents and some elite rosters.
Team Falcons have not been the most consistent team in recent weeks. But they’ve handled Natus Vincere in the last two meetings and should be in a good spot to make it three in a row.
- Team Falcons have beaten NaVi in the last two meetings

- Team Falcons are rightly viewed as favourites

Natus Vincere Are Looking Rough
Natus Vincere’s streak of underwhelming results continued into October, as they failed to leave a lasting mark in ESL Pro League Season 24 and PGL Masters Bucharest 2026, finishing the two tournaments in ninth-11th and fifth-eighth place.
With that, NaVi are now on a five-month dry spell, having not won a tournament since Intel Extreme Masters Atlanta, nor placed higher than fifth.
In their defence, Natus Vincere have been showing some signs of life of late, having beaten G2 Esports, FURIA, and Team Spirit in the last week. However, they’ve also lost to Team Vitality, BetBoom Team, PARIVISION, and Team Falcons, with the latter beating NaVi 2-1 during ESL Pro League Season 24.
The potential with this team is there. However, until Natus Vincere show something in the arena, it is hard to trust them.

Team Falcons Can Be Potent
Team Falcons, once more, have a lot to prove heading into IEM Beijing, as they’ve not won a tournament since their heroic run to the IEM Cologne Major trophy.
Since Falcons’ trip to Germany, they’ve attended five tournaments and haven’t won once. Their best placements over that stretch include a semifinal run at BLAST Open Fall and a fourth-place finish at Thunderpick World Championship.
Falcons' main issue is a lack of consistency, as shown in their recent outings: wins against 9z Team, Natus Vincere, and Ninjas in Pyjamas, and defeats against Team Spirit, BetBoom Team, and Aurora Gaming.
However, Falcons have had two weeks to prepare for IEM Beijing, which offers them a chance for a fresh start and a bounce back after a long spell of middling results.

Verdict
Team Falcons have met Natus Vincere three times and won the last two clashes. While neither team has shown excellent form lately, Falcons are in better shape, with a deeper map pool, which will be beneficial in a BO3 game.
Team Falcons are not consistent, but considering Natus Vincere’s recent performances and the little time they’ve had to prepare for IEM Beijing, it is hard to doubt Falcons and their chances of winning on Monday.
