Nongshim RedForce Can Be Predictable
Nongshim RedForce have been enjoying a very solid season. They kicked off the year by winning VCT Pacific Kickoff and Masters Santiago, then they cooled down in Stage 1, which RedForce finished in seventh-eighth place, but bounced back with a third-place finish at the Esports World Cup and a runner-up finish in VCT Pacific Stage 2.
Their Stage 2 run was seriously impressive, and there are arguments to be made that Nongshim RedForce should’ve won the stage.
Nevertheless, they’ve shown excellent form this season, and their performances over the last month are proof enough that RedForce are comfortable in the current meta and more than ready to make a splash at VALORANT Champions.
One issue with Nongshim RedForce is that they’re very predictable. They haven’t shown much flexibility in their style of play, and tend to be very good at one way of playing. This is not a bad approach, but it can be punished.

NRG have been very consistent this season. Always a bridesmaid, never the bride, NRG have, since the start of the season, finished top-three in all but one event – Masters London, which NRG ended in ninth-10th.
In all other events, including VCT Americas Kickoff, Stage 1, and Stage 2, as well as Masters Santiago, NRG placed third. Their best placement, however, came in the Esports World Cup, where NRG claimed a silver medal.
This is a very strong team who are not getting much respect, and that is mainly because NRG have been very consistent in making deep runs in big events, yet also very consistent in falling flat when it mattered the most.
