Team Liquid Are in Great Shape
Team Liquid finished Group Alpha in second place, with a very promising 4-1 record. They’ve suffered only one loss against the high-flying FUT Esports, but have otherwise been playing extremely well.
There is no hiding that Liquid are one of the main favourites to qualify for Masters London, and given their group stage performances, Liquid appear to have the tools to make a run for the VCT EMEA trophy.

Team Vitality finished Group Omega with a 2-3 record, which is far below expectations. They have beaten GIANTX and PCIFIC Esports, but lost to BBL Esports, Eternal Fire, and Fnatic.
Of late, they’ve shown some improvement, especially on the attacking side. More notably, Vitality looked like they’ve gotten better at planning their games and developing some sort of strategy, which had been their main issue for most of the regular season.
This roster has a lot of talent, and Vitality definitely have enough quality to make a push for a deep run in the playoffs. But they’re not playing at 100% yet, and there is no telling whether they’ll reach that anytime soon.
