Team Secret started the stage with a rough 1-2 loss against VARREL, to which they added a very convincing 2-0 sweep of DRX, but turned back into a pumpkin and got swept by T1 last Saturday.
The latter was a one-sided stomp, ending with 5-13 on Ascent and Haven, with T1 proving that Team Secret might not have the tools to challenge VCT Pacific’s top dogs.
Zeus, in particular, had an atrocious performance on the day, posting a 0.30 performance rating, below natz and STYRON at 0.62 and 0.85, respectively.
In Secret’s defence, T1 are among the top teams in the region; however, Paper Rex can be considered just as strong, so things aren’t going to get any easier on Friday.

The clash against DFM was a bit too close for comfort, as PR needed 23 rounds on Summit (13-10) and 32 on Ascent (17-15) to come out ahead. However, they improved the impression by demolishing DRX (13-1, 13-6), looking much more like Paper Rex of Stage 1.
