Recently, they’ve shown some signs of struggle, though, with losses to Invictus Gaming and Weibo Gaming, but NiP bounced back in style with a 2-1 victory against Top Esports.
This was not too shocking, as NiP have been very competitive and they’re a bit unlikely to have only won six games.
Looking back at the upset win against TES, the first map was a close one, before NiP took a massive lead at the third drake and ran away with it. Top Esports struck back on the second map with a strong early game, securing over 3k gold lead at seven minutes. It was done and dusted at that point.
The third map saw Top Esports start strong again, but bungled their condition with a poor Baron fight and lost what seemed like an unlosable game. On the other side, NiP deserve some props for fighting back into it and finding the opportunity.

Team WE showed some signs of life last week, when they defeated Invictus Gaming and took a map off Team WE. They also added a 1-2 loss to Anyone’s Legend in their most recent game.
This looks seriously impressive on paper, but it is worth remembering that AL have been very volatile and unpredictable of late. This was very noticeable in the mentioned game, when WE took the series lead after a back-and-forth in the early game.
Maps two and three were again close early, but AL did a better job of using their advantages and snowballed to victories on both to complete a reverse-sweep.
Overall, Team WE did not show much on the day. Yes, they took a map off Anyone’s Legend, but it was largely thanks to AL’s errors.
