ThunderTalk Gaming Are Showing Good Things
ThunderTalk Gaming started the split strong, beating Ultra Prime and Oh My God, but have since cooled down, with defeats against LGD Gaming (1-2) and LNG Esports (1-2) – both coming in Week 5 of the regular season.
This team is hard to figure out. They were not terrible in the first split of the season, considering they had to play much tougher opponents. However, quality-wise, you can rank them among the better teams in Group Nirvana, somewhere between LNG Esports and EDward Gaming.
This was evident in their more recent loss to LNG Esports, which was not a terrible beat. TT Gaming made a few too many errors on the first map and paid the price. The second map was the reverse.
The third and final map could’ve gone either way, and could’ve finished in TT Gaming’s favour had they pulled the trigger when they had the chance. Slight hesitation cost them the win, but more importantly, ThunderTalk Gaming messed up by not stacking drakes.
Obviously, TT Gaming are not perfect, and their macro is shaky. But individually, they are relatively good for this group.

EDward Gaming entered Split 2 as one of the clear best teams in Group Nirvana. They’re 3-1, which would confirm that claim, but realistically, EDG haven’t been playing that well.
IN their most recent outing, EDward Gaming edged past Nirvana’s worst team, Oh My God, which is not inspiring. The game as a whole was not great, with multiple mistakes from both sides, very little urgency, and iffy decision-making.
EDward Gaming ended up winning purely because they made fewer mistakes. But that’s hardly an accomplishment against OMG.

All these Nirvana teams are prone to making mistakes, weird calls, and, for the most part, they all have questionable macro. So unless you’re looking at a match between two rosters of vastly different quality, you can’t really make a very strong case for either team as favourites.
