TYLOO Are in Great Shape
TYLOO far exceeded expectations at XSE Pro League, dominating the Swiss Stage with a perfect 3-0 record.
In the group stage, the Chinese Counter-Strike 2 team picked up wins against FaZe Clan, PARIVISION, and EYEBALLERS, effectively beating some of the strongest teams in attendance. Moreover, none of the three games were particularly close.
TYLOO crushed FaZe 13-8, handled PARIVISION with 13-5, and did not give EYEBALLERS much room either, winning the series 13-6 on Nuke and 13-7 on Cache.
TYLOO’s job, however, is far from done, as they now get to face 9z Team, who are fresh off a very promising showing at Intel Extreme Masters Cologne Major.

9z Team Have Been Inconsistent
9z Team turned many heads at the IEM Cologne Major, where they reached the quarterfinals and posted promising results against some of the world’s strongest teams.
However, despite the impressive showings in Germany, 9z Team haven’t been as dominant in China as many expected them to be.
In the group stage, 9z managed a 3-2 record, with wins against SINNERS, 3DMAX, and MIBR, and defeats against EYEBALLERS and Alliance. The two defeats were relatively close, with 10-13 against EYEBALLERS, and 14-16, 7-13 agianst Alliance.
While 9z came close to going 3-1, the fact that they struggled against the likes of Alliance and EYEBALLER is not a good look.
| Date | Event | Opponent | Result |
|---|---|---|---|
| July 5 | XSE Pro League 2026 | MIBR | 2-0 (W) |
| July 4 | XSE Pro League 2026 | Alliance | 0-2 (L) |
| July 3 | XSE Pro League 2026 | 3DMAX | 13-9 (W) |
| July 2 | XSE Pro League 2026 | SINNERS Esports | 13-5 (W) |
| July 1 | XSE Pro League 2026 | EYEBALLERS | 10-13 (L) |

Verdict
9z Team are billed as favourites for their clash against TYLOO, which makes sense, as they’ve recently shown up in the IEM Cologne Major. However, their past success means very little as 9z have been looking far weaker in XSE Pro League, struggling against the likes of EYEBALLERS and Alliance.
Performances like that inspire little confidence that 9z can challenge TYLOO, who might not have as impressive tournament placements, but have been playing like the best team of this tournament.
Home favourites to deliver.
