Bournemouth is looking to extend their unbeaten streak as they target a spot in European competition. Their recent form gives them positive momentum, increasing the odds in their favor when facing Crystal Palace, a team showing fatigue from a packed playing schedule. The recommended bet is for a Bournemouth win, priced at 1.66, with three units staked for confident backers. Bournemouth's drive and recent consistency make them strong candidates for victory.

H2H - Bournemouth Advantage

Bournemouth have a 32-28 advantage against Crystal Palace, alongside 22 draws.

Bournemouth Challenging for European Qualification

Andoni Iraola’s Bournemouth are seventh in the Premier League and sit nine points off the Champions League qualification places. The Cherries have maintained their European push this season following a 14-match unbeaten run.

Bournemouth drew five matches in a row from February to March before notching consecutive 2-1 wins against Arsenal and Newcastle. The south coast side had over 4XG total across those two victories.

The Cherries gave up the lead twice in a 2-2 home draw with Leeds last time out. Bournemouth had 1.65-0.81 XG and goals from Eli Junior-Kroupi and Rayan weren't enough to secure the win.

Crystal Palace Are in Patchy EPL Form

Crystal Palace are comfortably mid-table in the Premier League. They have struggled to push into the top half following just two wins in their last six matches.

Palace drew 0-0 at home against Leeds and West Ham either side of a 2-1 victory against Newcastle. The Eagles then lost 3-1 away at Liverpool, allowing 1.14 XG.

The London side responded with a 3-1 Conference League win at Shakhtar Donetsk on Thursday. Ismaila Sarr scored early and Palace conceded before Daichi Kamada and Jorgen Strand Larsen struck in the second half.

Predicted Starting Lineups & Team News

Bournemouth (4-2-3-1): Dorde Petrovic; Alex Jimenez, James Hill, Marco Senesi, Adrien Truffert; Alex Scott, Ryan Christie; David Brooks, Eli Junior Kroupi, Marcus Tavernier; Evanilson

Midfielder Lewis Cook and defender Julio Soler could return for the Palace game after recent injuries.

Attacker Justin Kluivert is unavailable due to a long-term knee problem.

Crystal Palace (3-4-3): Dean Henderson; Chris Richards, Maxence Lacroix, Jaydee Canvot; Daniel Munoz, Adam Wharton, Daichi Kamada, Tyrick Mitchell; Isamila Sarr, Jorgen Strand Larsen, Yeremy Pino

Forward Edward Nketiah is out for the season with a hamstring issue. Midfielder Cheick Doucoure is also unavailable due to injury.

Evann Guessand is unlikely to feature following a recent knee injury. Oliver Galsner provided a recent update on the attacker and said, “Usually with the injury he has, it’s really normally not possible that he could play the second leg against Shakhtar.

“But because it's the end of the season and he wants to be part of it, we are really very aggressive in the rehab. He's already on the pitch working there and it looks good.”

Verdict

Bournemouth will want to keep their unbeaten run rolling to boost their European qualification push. The Cherries have momentum and can defeat a Palace side that are lacking Premier League form.
