Bournemouth face Leeds in the Premier League, with a draw recommended as the main tip. Leeds' strong defensive record is seen as a key factor that could frustrate Bournemouth, who have recently improved their form after a slow start. A 1-1 draw is also suggested as a possible outcome, reflecting both teams' current strengths and playing styles. The recommendation is based on Leeds' ability to keep matches tight and Bournemouth's recent upturn, making a stalemate a likely result.

H2H - Recent Stalemates

Leeds have an 11-2 advantage against Bournemouth, alongside four draws.

Bournemouth Looking Confident

Bournemouth had a tough start to the Premier League campaign and were winless in six consecutive matches. The south coast side drew three during that spell.

The Cherries’ last defeat was a 5-1 thrashing at Chelsea and they have hit back with five consecutive wins.

Marco Rose’s side won three in a row at the Vitality, beating Sturm Graz 3-0, Sunderland 2-0 and AC Milan 3-0. Bournemouth continued their upturn in form by comfortably defeating Man United 3-0 away.

The winning run continued after a 3-0 EFL Cup home triumph against Aston Villa. Amine Adli, Lewis Cook and Alvaro Rodriguez scored and Bournemouth had 19 shots.

Leeds Are Hard to Beat

Daniel Farke’s Leeds have made a strong start to the 2026/27 Premier League campaign. The Whites are seventh, have lost once and conceded just six goals.

Leeds have drawn a joint league high of five matches in the Premier League, including two on the road.

The Yorkshire side drew 0-0 with Crystal Palace and 1-1 against Man United at home either side of a 2-1 loss at Arsenal.

Farke’s outfit drew for a third time in four games on Sunday following a goalless stalemate at Sunderland. Both sides had -1 XG and Leeds missed two big chances.

Predicted Starting Lineups & Team News

Bournemouth (4-2-3-1): Djorde Petrovic; Adam Smith, James Hill, Antonio Silva, Adrien Truffert; Tyler Adams, Lewis Cook; Rayan, Justin Kluivert, Marcus Tavernier; Evanilson

Midfield pair Alex Scott and Alex Toth are injured and won’t feature. Defender Julian Araujo is also out with a thigh problem.

Leeds (3-4-2-1): James Trafford; James Justin, Jaka Bijol, Tarik Muharemovic; Jayden Bogle, Ethan Ampadu, Ao Tanaka, Gabriel Gudmundsson; Anton Stach, Brenden Aaronson; Dominic Calvert-Lewin

Centre-back Joe Rondon is ruled out due to a hamstring injury.

Nico Elvedi missed the Sunderland game and is likely to return against Bournemouth. Daniel Farke explained the defender’s absence post-match and said:

"Nico Elvedi missed the game overnight due to illness and felt unwell. He had to travel back."

Verdict

Bournemouth have recovered from their slow start to the season with a big upturn in form. High-flying Leeds keep things tight in the Premier League and can hold the Cherries on Saturday.
